In 2008, Oakville native Matt Bursey cycled through out the U.S.A and Canada to raise funds and awareness for people living with developmental disabilities, in the first “Far and Wide Trek.”

Now it's your turn to take part. Come out to the 2nd annual "Far-and-Wide Trek"

On August 25th, the ACCEPTional Foundation will host the “Far-and-Wide Trek” along the Hamilton-Brantford Rail Trail, introducing area cyclists to the foundation and its goals.
The ride will be followed by a social barbeque event.

Last year, ACCEPtional raised more than $2,500 through the first annual “Far and Wide Trek” and we want you to help us make this year's event even bigger!

Get your friends and family together and come out for a great day of cycling. Take part in a 10, 25 or 40 kilometer ride along a picturesque trail.

The ride will start at 9 am on Saturday, August 25th.
